Feeling Peaky...?

...we ought to be.

After reflecting on this week's sustainability seminar I might have found an image that draws me into sustainability issues.

Though the green light bulb was a bit of a failure, I thought that the high-rise trees were much better.  But this rather iconic graphical image, adapted from PlanetforLife, is my personal starting point for the sustainability story:

We think that peak oil production was reached in 2006 and now we are on the down side. Oil production has gone from almost zero to 30 million barrels per year in 100 years.  And it is likely to go back down just as fast.

Are you ready for a Post Oil lifestyle?
